Alex Schaefer paints at Perform Chinatown

Charlie James (cjamesgallery.com) invited me to paint plein air at the Perform Chinatown event yesterday. It's the largest performance art event on the west coast! I was a roving performer, going from here and there painting different artists. Charlie and I titled my participation "Painting as performance" and I had fun out there interacting with the artists and the crowd.
