painting at 7th and Broadway

earlier in the week I went out with a couple friends, John Kilduff and Jose de Juan, and we all set up and painted the scene from the corner. What a beautiful day! I think i need a little more time on the lower right but I really like the feeling for the light! I love color... oil on canvas, 28 by 22

Your bank paintings are fantastic! I am amazed at the response by the authorities and am thrilled that a plein air painter is tackling such a relevant topic and actually getting a response. Keep up the great work!

Ales: An Italian painter, Aldo Pagliacci, got famous after WWII by painting a series of Roman churches burning down. I have his painting of St Patricks in NYC going up in flames, a fave of mine. He made Time magazine, and also sold out his show. I wish you similar success. If you dexcide to sell the Chase burning, let me know. Thanks,
