I like the eyebrow to ear angle-line and the circle for the chin. I tend to underestimate the chin area so to put a circle may help. The portrait looks right.

and yes you're right, I can underestimate the length of the face too, so often what I thought was going to be the jawline actually has to move a half an inch down once I find all the construction points down the face...
